Like many good things in life—pavlova, penicillin—this vase was never meant to be. What began as a humble test palette for ceramic glazes (read: a glorious mess of colour and chaos) has blossomed into a fully fledged, flower-holding, table-talking, look-at-me-I’m-art kind of creation.
Handmade by a local ceramicist with a fondness for imperfection and a flair for the accidental, this one-off piece is gloriously unrepeatable.
Perfect as a table centrepiece or for the corner of your kitchen bench that needs some “I have my life together” energy. Or don’t put flowers in it at all. Just let it be. It’s already done enough.
